With its super efficient Class-BD circuit topology, the P1000-1bd assures maximum BOOM for your buck! Due to its dedicated low frequency response, this amplifier is optimized for mid-bass speakers or subwoofers only. No need to worry because its 1-ohm capability will drive a pair of 4-ohm DVC subwoofers or quad-configuration of 2-ohm DVC subwoofers with ease.

Class bd
Class-bd amplifiers have 75-80% efficiency ratings vs. 20-60% efficiency ratings of traditional class A/B amplifiers.What does that mean... It means, more power from your amplifier with less drain on your vehicles electrical and charging system.
Punch Bass EQ
The Punch EQ on-board equalization circuit helps correct for acoustical deficiencies in the listening environment. The Punch Bass EQ gives you variable Bass Boost, up to 18dB @ 45 Hz.
TRANSana [TRANS conductance Active Nodal Amplifier]
TRANS-ana is a sound quality circuit that is a standard in the recording industry that simplifies the signal path of the amplifier, allowing the signal to travel through the amplifier at a low voltage. The result: Greater reliability, cleaner performance and exceptional musicality, speed, and durability.
