Open the door and Power Step automatically deploys to the just-right height for easy stepping. Close the doors and this sure-footed step platform retracts safely under the truck out of sight.

AMP RESEARCH POWER STEP LIGHT KIT
Open any door and four ultra bright white LEDs illuminate the stepping surface of the deployed Power Step running board. Four low profile LED lights are strategically placed for broad coverage and visibility and are reliable in the most extreme conditions. For safety, the lights stay lit for a full five minutes when doors are open, allowing plenty of time for entry or exit. When doors close, the lights turn off automatically when the Power Step retracts.
WATCH YOUR STEP!
When the vehicle doors open and the step deploys, the LED lamps turn on (with a 5-minute auto-off feature) and automatically turn off when the vehicle doors close.
