Wholesale Car Stereo was founded to be a focused, specialty distributor for the mobile electronics industry in Southern California. Today's vehicle owner is a moving target, and it is increasingly difficult for the independent dealer to stay on top of trends and to maintain the right inventory mix for a variety of unique, vehicle-specific installations. As vehicle integration becomes more and more a part of our business, having a wide selection of products available on short notice will become critical.
"Because of the high cost of navigation and mobile entertainment products, it is more and more expensive to inventory a mobile electronics store," says John Haynes, general manager. "The need to carry dozens, even hundreds of specialty integration devices makes the situation even worse. Using a distributor to carry the burden of the inventory makes good business sense."
